Responsive display on mobile phone not displaying family tree - edit window works OK

When I look at family trees on my mobile phone the family tree loads OK in the window. However as soon as I touch the screen in the tree display window it is wiped clean.

If I choose the edit option the family tree stays on display in the window and I can edit it.

So the problem is only in the display window, not the edit window.
